VIP crowd helps Ramirez family raise $600,000 for St. Augustine: Slideshow

A VIP crowd of Milwaukee-area business executives and community leaders joined with the Ramirez family Tuesday evening to raise money for the $50 million St. Augustine Preparatory Academy on Milwaukee's south side. The private, Christian school, 2607 S. Fifth St., is being led by the Ramirez family that runs HUSCO International in Waukesha. School founder and HUSCO executive Gus Ramirez said fundraising continues, and his family aims to cover about two-thirds of the project cost, or up to $40 million.
